Most museums use different kinds of Art lighting. To enhance pictures in each room, there are Picture frame lights used which provide an improved identity to each portrait. There are several kinds of museums worldwide, which range from different sizes to shapes, and from different designs and styles.

A museum is an institution, which demonstrates the culture and history, and is open for the public which investigates, inquires and interacts with individuals the tangible and intangible inheritance of the human race. It provides learning, entertainment and enjoyment reasons for the public. Below are some of the different kinds of museums available:

• History museums – History museums are stand-alone museums, which can be a part of larger museums and historic locations. They are commonly known for holding little collections of artifacts, which are related to the past of the museum itself, or commonly known past. They are large, and cover various different times, gathering and showcasing millions of items. Some museums can be small, and pertain to just one area of era, or country maybe. The main aim of these museums is to let the visitors know about the past, and to use the past to help lead a radiant and better life. One of the famous museums is the Smithsonian’s Museum of American History.

• Botanical Gardens - This type of museum is solely meant for plants. They nurture them, and display different species of botanical life. Some botanical gardens focus on local plants, while others have proper greenhouse systems to allocate and display plants from all across the globe. Some of the botanical gardens have a comprehensive past and are associated with historic buildings.

• Science museums - Scientific museums use a variety of presentations to show scientific procedures and introduce basic science ideas. Most of them do not hold a collection of artifacts, but display imitations or constructed pieces to share stories. Some science museums also offer IMAX films, travelling, planetarium or other several techniques to appeal to kids and an adult spectators. Great Lake Science Center and The Exploratorium are some famous examples.

• Art museum – Art museums are largely renowned iconic museums and are present for more than a hundred years. They normally have larger budgets than other kinds of museums, and thereby, deal with a broad scale of art, gathering different cultures and historical times. The objects they display are very valuable and very expensive, at times costing around millions of dollars. They include paintings, sculptures, furniture and other pieces of art. Some known art museums are the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and The Met.

• Specialized museums – Museums that come under this section, do not come under a certain category of museum. They cater to those spectators and individuals who do not correlate with any one community. They present a variety of topics and are intended for individuals of all ages. For example, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame rejoices the life and work of musicians and composers, the Bead museum encourages the historic and cultural significance of beads work.
