Tips For Staying Safe When Doing Window Cleaning

It is a sad fact but there are still many people that have unfortunate accidents when window cleaning. If you have ever been one of the unlucky ones, naturally you’re going to want to make sure you don’t end up falling victim to another window cleaning accident, so here are some useful tips on how to prevent window cleaning accidents.

Tip 1: Drinking And Window Cleaning Don’t Mix

Climbing ladders is common practice for some irresponsible adults after drinking, and that’s one reason why there are so many accidents. In order to reduce the window cleaning accident risk, please don’t ever climb a ladder and try to clean your windows after having a few too many glasses of wine!

Tip 2: Swap The Ladder For A Telescopic Window Cleaning Pole

There are still some people that rely on their ladders for window cleaning. People assume their old ladder is safe and forget that nothing lasts forever, so please don’t use a ladder if you think that its going to give way. Try using a telescopic window cleaning pole if you want to make high-rise cleaning effortlessly easy. There’s no more stretching and straining to reach the high windows – the pole does it all for you as you stay safe on the ground.

Tip 3: Animals And Children Should Stay Inside

If your house gets quite busy, kids and animals can get under your feet, which is dangerous if you’re trying to do some window cleaning. Strong chemicals are dangerous and something could fall on them, so it is best to keep them inside where it is safe. Window cleaning can be quite enjoyable for you, the owner, but when accidents happen the pleasure soon goes.

Hopefully these tips have helped you identify what you need to do to stay safe with window cleaning. As with any type of home maintenance or improvement, its always safety that’s the most important thing.
