Tips For Staying Safe When Doing Window Cleaning

If you DIY when it comes to window cleaning, you are immediately increasing the danger risk. Even if you have never had a window cleaning accident, there is always a first time and you don’t want to get hurt, so here is some useful advice for window cleaning enthusiasts.

Tip 1: Don’t Do It Drunk

Okay, it might sound like a bit of a ridiculous statement, but you would be surprised just how many people attempt to climb ladders and suchlike when they have had a few drinks. If you’re going to be doing window cleaning, never do it after drinking as it is very dangerous.

Tip 2: Move Over Ladder, There’s A New Pole In Town

There are still some people that rely on their ladders for window cleaning. People assume their old ladder is safe and forget that nothing lasts forever, so please don’t use a ladder if you think that its going to give way. If you use a telescopic window cleaning pole instead, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how easy high-rise window cleaning suddenly seems. There’s no more stretching and straining to reach the high windows – the pole does it all for you as you stay safe on the ground.

Tip 3: No Place For Kids Or Pets

When you have your window cleaning tools out, the important thing to remember is not to let children and pets get in the way. The most common accident is if chemicals get eaten by children or pets, so keep them away. Although window cleaning can be made fun for you as you listen to a bit of music etc, its not considered a fun activity for others if they get hurt, so please be careful.

It is hoped that you now know the best way to do window cleaning and to prevent accidents. Safety always comes first when window cleaning, so please do be careful.
